Ash Gourd and Yellow Moong Dal Mash

• Ash Gourd and Yellow Moong Dal Mash •

Ingredients:
Two cups ash gourd cubes.
Half cup yellow moong dal.
One inch ginger, grated.
Half teaspoon cumin.
Black pepper to taste.
Salt to taste.
Lemon juice.


Preparation:

Cook ash gourd, dal, ginger, cumin, salt and two cups water till everything is very soft.
Lightly mash using a spoon.
Add black pepper and lemon juice.


Serve warm with rice or chapati.
